New month & growing littles.

Well, with the start of March we're all pretty hopeful for some warmer weather & possibly even an end to freezing rain and endless snow days..haha (we can dream, right?:) but with all the snow days and inside sort of days, we've tried to stay busy with playdates with friends, playing and getting ready for the arrival of our new baby girl Harper in early Summer. I am now nearly 23 weeks and feeing pretty good! I've said before and I'll say again, the 2nd trimester really is the best and hopefully the 3rd will go somewhat as well. But we shall see..(: here are some photos of life as of late.

One thing I wanted to share because to me it's cuteness x 1000, is Mikey's latest thing to to do is to come up to me and say Mama you the best mama ever! And daddy is the best & Ava is the best! And even new baby Harper too. (Which he says like he has a Boston accent with no R in Harper. Haha) No, he's not always this sweet, but he is good natured and seems to be pretty happy *most* of the time. This is also his birthday month, and on the 26th he'll leave the two's behind and be onto the 3's. (Whoa!) He's also gotten potty trained recently and we are So so stoked that it went way better this time around (and way quicker) he does still need to be reminded to go from time to time but for the most part he's going himself like a champ and it only took about 3 days of misery to get to this point..(; (totally worth it) Well I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week & if you live anywhere near us, I hope you're staying sane too on these cold, late Winter days.
Love & Peace.

Our week in photos.

Hey guys,
We had Mike's parents in town last weekend through Wednesday & it was nice taking them around to see some sights (some of which we were also seeing for the first time;) the cool thing about being a Navy family and moving all over the place, is getting to experience life all over the Country and the different landscapes and cultures of each place is so unique. We took the littles to the Maryland Science Center in downtown Baltimore & then the next day we drove back to a different area in Baltimore and went to America's very 1st Cathedral and  went to the mass there. It was awesome seeing a statue of Mother Theresa there as I had never seen one, and then telling Ava about her and all of the amazing things that she did for God. What an an incredible woman she was. I'm honestly more of a modern church person with contemporary worship but I also enjoy visiting older churches and showing the kids what a broad variety there is out there for everyone and all of the history and depth that the older churches have. To sum up, here are some photos 😊

A week of Family
            Museums
            Cathedrals
            Playdates
            Starbucks
            Sunsets
            & Valentine making.
              (Basically)
This week I'm very much looking forward to finding out the gender of our baby in the 20 week ultrasound, and also seeing her/his cute little face! I'm also dying to know if the almost nightly occurrence of dreaming of a baby girl end up being the reality or not;) Either way I'll be so happy.

I hope your week is filled with love & happiness and that you see the beauty of life in all the little moments. (Even in the chaos!)

Cold/snowy/January days.

Well, this week has consisted of playing outside in the snow, romp & stomp and library story time with the little man, and preschool days for my girl. I'm sure a lot of you probably know that I tend to think of myself as a lot more of a beach sort of person, than a cold & snow sort of person But with that being said, I still think it's important to try to enjoy every (or try to;) season of life. I'm sure that I don't always accomplish that, but I try my best to live with a positive outlook and to get out and do things with my littles, no matter where we are or what the weather, for instance, looks like. I want them to look back on their childhood with good memories & be kind, loving people who choose to see the good in life and be thankful for all that we've been given.
It was so funny, the other night at dinner when Ava and Mikey randomly, almost as if they had planned it, switched places at the table and then just kept eating each other's plate of food as if nothing had happed. Mike and I just looked at each other, like what? And started laughing. They really are such buddies and are so close and it makes me wonder what our new little one will be like and if they'll stay as close but also include him or her into their little crazy world. Haha time will tell I'm sure, but they're both Very amped on it! And now for some photos to sum up our week.

That's basically how our week went, and as far as the last photo goes, I am now 16 weeks & 4 days and can actually feel my baby move now!! That's always such a cool thing and makes it feel way more real and not just like your stomach is growing for no apparent reason...haha
Well, tomorrow is Friday (yay!) so I hope you all have an amazing weekend, in whatever you choose to do.

Back at it!

Well guys, my Hp laptop with windows 8, which is only a couple years old, has decided to just not turn on. Not sure at all what's up since we haven't gotten it fixed yet, but it has definitely stopped me from blogging for a bit & and I'm ready to get back to it! We've just been doing a lot of settling into our new life here in Maryland and especially all the Cold weather that it brings here in the Winter months. Ava has recently started Preschool after being on the waiting list for a few months and she is Loving it! She's making friends and enjoying all of the crafts that she's been doing. Mikey and I keep busy in the mornings too either with play dates, romp & stomp or library story time. (The life of a SAHM basically;)
I am now 15 weeks & 3 days pregnant with baby no. 3 and feeling good! I'm so beyond thrilled to be done and over with trimester 1, and we all know this trimester is just the best especially since next month, the day before Valentine's Day, we'll be finding out if my strong feeling of the baby being a Girl is right or if I've been confused all along and giving Mikey his first ever brother. Either way it's totally exciting, but I'm still saying girl all the way. Haha.

These few photos pretty much sum up life lately with a Preggo belly shot, heading out with my two, lunch date with my girl, Starbucks play date, organizing the littles playroom and a crazy selfie with my boy before bed. He still makes me laugh often, just like he always has.
I hope you all have a lovely rest of your week!
